Made in Japan | Dual-wavelength simultaneous imaging SWIR camera 'WA-1000D-CL'

For moisture detection and foreign object sorting! A unique domestic camera that spectrally divides the SWIR band into two wavelengths and captures images simultaneously with a single unit.

The "WA-1000D-CL" is a SWIR (Short-Wave Infrared) line scan camera equipped with unique prism spectroscopic technology and two InGaAs sensors. It divides the SWIR wavelength range of 900 to 1700 nm into two different wavelength bands using a prism, capturing images simultaneously and perfectly coaxially from a single lens without any displacement. This significantly improves inspection accuracy for detecting moisture that absorbs specific wavelengths and for resin sorting based on differences in material reflectance, which was difficult with single-wavelength cameras. There is no need for alignment with multiple cameras. 【Features】 ■ Simultaneous output of two wavelengths in the SWIR range (900–1700 nm) ■ Equipped with two 1024-pixel (1K) InGaAs line sensors ■ Zero pixel displacement (parallax) between the two wavelengths due to prism technology ■ High-speed scanning with a maximum line rate of 39 kHz (Camera Link) ■ Eliminates the need for multiple cameras, contributing to space-saving and cost reduction *For details such as spectral sensitivity characteristics and dimensional diagrams, please download the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

[Development Case] Disaster Monitoring Using Short-Wave Infrared (SWIR) Cameras

The wavelength is about twice that of visible light! Establishing a monitoring system that is strong against visibility deterioration due to fog, rain, and other conditions!

A sensor sensitive to SWIR light in the short-wavelength infrared region with a wavelength of 1000 to 2000 nm has been developed, and its use in fields such as factory automation for sorting and inspection, which are difficult to distinguish visually, is becoming more common. Our company aims to establish a monitoring system that is resilient to visibility deterioration caused by fog, rain, and other factors by utilizing this SWIR camera for disaster monitoring. In the rainfall estimation technology using CCTV footage, the wavelength is approximately twice that of visible light, which suppresses the scattering of light that causes visibility deterioration, making it less affected by fog, haze, and rain. [Case Overview] ■ Purpose: To utilize SWIR cameras for disaster monitoring and establish a monitoring system resilient to visibility deterioration caused by fog and rain. ■ Rainfall estimation technology from CCTV footage - The wavelength is approximately twice that of visible light. - Scattering of light that causes visibility deterioration is suppressed. - It has properties that make it less affected by fog, haze, and rain. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
